Matt and I escaped to beautiful Aspen last weekend.

Anniversary

Tuesday evening - August 19th - Matt and I celebrated two years of marriage. Its been quite an adventure so far:)!

Michigan

Matt and I spent the last several days Michigan at my parents house. Matt was able to go to the PGA Championship that was held at Oakland Hills Country Club (located one mile from my parents house) last week.. The weekend was spent exploring all that Detroit has to offer w/ my Uncle Jay. We had a good time

Lake

We have had the privilege to spend two days this summer on one of the few Colorado lakes - water skiing and wake boarding w/ Matt's relatives - so fun.

Moving In

Jess and I moved in last Sunday. We are exhausted but still working hard everyday. I will post pictures once we settle in more.

Boulder Hike #2

Over the fourth of July weekend Matt and I once again headed to Boulder and hiked Bear's Peak. It was strenuous and very hot outside but we had a really great day together.

Boulder Hike #1

A few weeks ago my old roomate and dear friend Juliet came to visit for the weekend. We had a great time and spent Saturday in Boulder enjoying a beautiful hike.

Purchased Our First House

Jess and I purchased our First House this week. I posted pictures of the house, just click on the picture below or click of the link that says "First House".


Our move in date is July 16th and we will keep the blog updated as we settle in.

sorry for the lack of updates this month....life has felt busy. Jess spent a week in Las Vegas for work and Matt has just been working like crazy. We close on the house on June 25th - more pictures to come:)

Colfax Half Marathon & Asian Hope

Last weekend Jess ran in the Colfax Half Marathon to support Asian Hope! Asian hope is a charity that sponsors Cambodian Students with scholerships to college. This year the charity has raised enough money to send 2 students to college and Jess was a part of this! Go Jess!

California

We had a great visit to LA last weekend. We crammed sooo much into a few short days but loved getting a small chance to reconnect w/ family and dear friends. We also loved spending tine at the ocean. The purpose of the trip was to attend our brother-in-law's graduation from graduate school. Matt has all the pictures from that event on his camera (to be posted later).
